July is UV Safety Month. Why We Need Natural Sunlight And How To Stay Safe When Sunbathing.

Hey again! So, in light of July being UV Safety Month, I thought I’d break down some basics with ya’ll about summer safety habits to adopt.

So, most of our kids are on summer break and you either have a booked activity calendar during these months, or you’re scratching your head as you are running out of ways to entertain the kids! When I was a kid, I was so happy to just spend quality time with my friends, having sleepovers, doing crafts, watching my favorite movies, and playing at the local water park.

If the outdoors and swimsuits are on your agenda this season, remember to apply, re-apply, and re-apply even more, natural sunblocks that will keep UV Poisoning at bay. One of my all time favorite sunscreens is (surprise surprise!!!) Melaleuca’s Mineral Sunscreen Line

Or go big and get a cute tote alongside your summer sun kit! No matter our skin tone, the surface of our skin is a mass that is ALWAYS absorbing rays (depending on thickness of clothing), and since UV Poisoning and Skin Cancer are at their highest rates during summer months, you need to be prepared to prevent these!

Stay safe out there.
